12" Sub in 2015 Screw
I posted this question in another thread, not realizing it wasn't in the audio section...
I'm looking to put a Pioneer 12" shallow mount sub behind the rear seat of my 2015 non-Sony Screw. I've seen alot of threads about adding a 10", but can't seem to find any with a 12". Can it be done while allowing the seat to raise? Do I have to move the jack in order to get the cubic feet required?. I've tried mocking up a couple cardboard boxes, to see what kind of room there is, but it seems really shallow when the seat is raised... Thanks in advance.

I've listened to both the 10" and 12". I can honestly say there isn't much of a difference in sound or performance between the two. The extra work involved to fit a 12" is totally not worth the efforts. Actually depressing that there isn't much of a sound difference after all was done to make it fit.

Just ordered the LMI 1520SA seat kit, so that should move the seat forward a couple inches, and give more clearance. Now I just have to wait for it to arrive...

That looks like an "under seat" setup, but I'm going behind the seat. Already started on the box build, but won't really get it complete until the seat kit arrives, and I know just how much room I'll have behind there. But an extra 2" is alot of room, so I shouldn't have a problem building it to the specs it's supposed to be.

Well my seat kit & Dayton 408 DSP are due to arrive in the next day or so. I've run my power wire down the passenger side channel, and learned that I bought the wrong tap-a-fuse (for mini instead of Micro2). My amps are going on the passenger side, so the 20ft speed wire isn't enough to run along the driver side. I need to run through the floor console. Has anyone got tips on doing this? it seems a bit tight, trying to fish it through the back of it.
