Default 1/0 to battery connection?

How are you guys connecting the power wire for your amps to the battery? Are you going rite to the factory terminal or using aftermarket terminals? Also has anyone actually gotten 1/0 through one of the rubber grommets on the passenger side firewall? Should i just go under the truck and up through the floor to the amps? Pics of battery would be great! This is going to be an all out sq install so the install will have to be spot on.

Thanks

So how is everyone hookin the power wire to the odd battery terminals on the battery? I could see hooking a ring terminal rite to some random nut on the factory terminal but was just wondering if there were any other ideas floating around?

I went though the firewall with mine. Here's the pic of the grommet that I used with my old 8 gauge before I upgraded (i used the same route).
I don't have a picture but I just came off of the terminal with a ring tongue.

I used a 1/0 and ran through the vehicle in through the firewall and into the fuse box.

It was a tight fit but it went in ok.

I then came in through the rubber grommet behind the glove box, followed some other wires and went right on top of the black cable heading into the fuse box right front centre when you open the hood up. I don't have a picture of the termination but I can get one if you like. I then put black wire loom over the cable so it looks stock.

I'm planning on using knukoncepts battery terminals and they're designed for the 1/0 to plug directly in. I'm trying to figure out how to hook up the factory wires to the new terminals or get an optima battery that has top and side posts.

I think there are two existing spots you can go through firewall with 1/0. The first being the two above posts and the second I think you can squeeze it through that rubber grommet just to the right of that one. I've ran 4 gauge through it but IIRC was thinking that it was possible to squeeze some 1/0 through it.
