What features are you looking for? Bluetooth, Nav, DVD, HD Radio, Sirius/XM?

I beilieve you'll have to trim if you want to go double din.

Check out sonicelectronix.com and woofersetc.com

I highly recommend Alpine. I have installed several and have been thrilled every time.

I just installed an Alpine CDA-9887 in my '01 Screw. Now my main gaol in getting this was to get great sound quality without dealing with a separate EQ. There is an impressive built-in EQ that can customize your sound. However this unit supports Alpine's Imprint technology... and I HIGHLY recommend that. Imprint is a device (that you can rent from Crutchfield.com) that essentially makes your speakers perform their best. I can't believe the quality I now have from my stock speakers.

I got a great deal on Crutchfield, and they threw in the hookups for my stock harness. No cutting of truck wires needed. Just solder the wires from the Alpine H/U to the ones Crutchfield supply and then just plug into the stock ford harness.

There are several ways to plug in your ipod..

1) Apline ipod adapter - lets you control your music from the h/u.
2) A/V adapter that plugs into your headphone jack - control music from ipod.
3) FM radio adapter - I don't recommend this because it's a little complex
and not the best sound quality.
4) Bluetooth - This is what I use with my iphone. Wireless and crystal clear.
May work with iPod Touch. Make sure you get a bluetooth adapter that supports audio streaming.

Sorry for rambling, I can answer individual questions if you have any.

As far as cost (a year ago when I bought it):

Headunit - $300
iPod connector - $30
Imprint (Rental) - $50
Bluetooth - $150

It really is annoying that alpine makes you buy the extra stuff but they do make the best headunits... Hands down.

Nice lookin truck ride n clean.
