What's up guys? I'm new to this forum and glad to be here. I got a 2001 F-150 Super Crew yesterday and everything is perfect on it except the gear selector is off one letter. It's not loose or jiggly at all, but when you're in P it reads R and so on. How can i fix this? Just want to know what's going on before i tear it apart. I'm good at fixing things myself. Thanks

 

There is an adjustment you can make under the dash, but I forgot how so someone else will have to chime in.
