Currently driving for a receptive tour company. Prevost H3-45 - a 45' Motor Coach. All sorts of fun.
During the summer I am a Manager on Duty in the dispatch office. Typically my shift would start at 2 AM.

Default Hi

Hey my name is Jonathan and I’m from West Virginia, I am having problems with my 98 f150. I just replaced the engine and it was working fine before that, but since then when driving the trans will pull until it reaches 3500 rpms then it stops pulling. Does not act like it’s in neutral just doesn’t go any faster. Can any one please give me some advice.

Smile Finally got another F-Series!

I've had several F-Series trucks, going all the way back to a 1961 unibody F100. I've been on the small side of Ford 20 years or so with Rangers, B-Series Mazdas, Bronco IIs and a couple of Escapes, but I'll be retiring next year, so I wanted to get a full-size truck to maybe tow a small house or yacht or something. I live near Mankato, MN, where I am a professor of Automotive Engineering. Been here 13 years, and prior to that I spent about 30 years in the auto industry, doing everything from twisting wrenches to traveling the world working with my company's suppliers, helping them fix manufacturing problems and cut their costs. I apprenticed as a mechanic with a Porsche/Audi dealer when I got out of the army, and spent the last few years before coming back to school doing technical training on heavy construction equipment. Teaching, though, is my all-time favorite job. (I don't mind learning, either!)

Here's a picture of one of my projects. It's a great way to see the country at 8 mpg! 8V-71 2-stroke Detroit diesel w/4-speed Spicer crash box. Grind 'em 'til you find 'em!!
