Figured I'd post here instead of making a new thread. I'm new to the forum; I've never owned a Ford but my dad sure has. I'm currently in Okinawa Japan for the next 3-4 years serving in Aerovac for the AF.

Plan is to buy an ecoboost f150 when I get back with cash. So I have time to research. Reason why Ford? GM and Dodge took the bailout. Screw them and their overpaid unions shipping jobs to China. Bunch of commies. I'm impressed with the ecoboost and the torture test they did on it.

Previously have owned a 1986 Chevy Silverado, 2001 S10, 1999 GMC Yukon (all sold now) Never had problems with any of them but can't stand what they did so I'm switching to blue

wbax123, Sounds interesting. Plus I see you are in Snellville. I am in Alpharetta. :-)

Constant13, when you do switch and get one, you will love it. I had a Dodge Ram back in the early 90s and loved it. Then I got an Chevy Avalanche. I loved it too. When it was time for a new truck, my husband suggest renting an F150 for a week to see if I would like it. I absolutely loved it. Now I have my own and I am hooked.

Default Thank you for your service.

You'll love your EcoBoost. I have a 2011 SCREW. I was at Osan and TDY several times to Kadena..not a bad place. Retired in 1993 with 22 years AF.
