Waiting on my new baby...and my first born.
Hi all,
New to the forum.
I have a 13' FX4 SCrew EcoBoost (FX appearance pkg, 402A, Nav, MoonRoof, etc) on order, due in June. This will be my first pickup though I had an Explorer at one point. I've always been more of a muscle car guy... I've had..eh..64 1/2..66..78..89..03..5 mustangs, and this year was suppose to be a 13' Cobra...then I found out we had a baby one the way. Needed something with 4 doors, and wanted to be able to tow a bike trailer (my lady and I both ride HD), so here I am.
My issue is that I can't leave anything stock...so as you can imagine I've been trolling this forum looking into how I'm going to start modding my new baby as soon as I get it.
I think I might have to wait till the warranty is up to do power mods...but I definitely want to level, front bumper w/ lighting, grill, maybe tire size +.
I have a buddy who does body work, so I have considered doing a raptor nose and bed sides... for the price of this truck I could have bought a raptor, sans an option or two... I just couldn't bear getting 8mpg. This is going to be my daily driver.. my Harley only gets about 18 mpg (184 rwhp)
Anyways, I'll definitely be doing quite a bit of research here, and surely looking for senior member wisdom.

I have a new '13 FX4, with 402A, white... just got it a couple of weeks ago.
I also have a '12 Mustang so I can certainly relate

Welcome and congratulations on both accounts! Sounds like an awesome truck. You'll love the EB and all the space in the crew cab. I picked up a 2012 XLT crew cab with the EB last fall in anticipation of a growing family. Our first new born is due in November. How about you?

Welcome and congratulations on both accounts! Sounds like an awesome truck. You'll love the EB and all the space in the crew cab. I picked up a 2012 XLT crew cab with the EB last fall in anticipation of a growing family. Our first new born is due in November. How about you?

Welcome! I gave my Limited Explore to my sister she totaled it. I just gave my mom my Mustang(god I'm a nice person) and bought my self a Mark LT. I know what you mean needing 4 doors for a family!
