The way I voted was to think of it this way. If all 3 trucks were sitting on a lot being given away for free, which one would I drive away in.

um....not mine?

Im not changing my vote in that case, lol. I could not bring my self to vote for for my own truck.

I look at it as who has put the most work into their truck, not who has thrown the most money into it. Any Idiot with deep pockets could go out an dbuy thousands worth of stuff, but I woudl not appriciate it as much as someon who has put lots of consiteration into each and every mod, just to make their truck their own.

Well how can you tell simply by looking at someone's truck whether they have done the work or paid to have it done? Sure you can look at paint jobs and figure he probably didn't do that himself, but not alot of people can do custom work like that, sometimes you have to pay a specialist.

I agree that someone who has the abilities to put the work into their trucks are always appreciated more, but that doesn't necessarily make it a better truck. Also just because someone pays to have work done to their truck does not make that person an idiot as you insinuate in your post.

To each their own though and I appreciate your truck as much as I do the other 2 trucks this month and more than some in previous months. This was by far the toughest month to vote for IMO because all 3 trucks had something to like about them.

I'm not calling everyone an idiot who spends money on their truck an idiot, I'm referring to the type who has no idea what they are doing, ans just throws money at it. How would yo do mods to your truck with out spending money? I can tall who has put work into their truck because I have read the threads, and I have read what they have written about their mods. Chances are, that If someone is on here, they actually have some idea about what they are doing, and are interested about learning more about how their truck works. What would be the point of joining a community like this if you didn't give 2 ****s about why a 3 inch leveling kit will wear out front end parts faster, or why certain exhaust systems are better than others?

I can certaily understand the idea that "throwing" money at a truck does not a great truck make. But, not everybody has the mechanical ability, or the time, or the garage to do the work themselves.

As long as the person has given thoughtful consideration to what mods they make to their truck, that should be good enough for the rest of us. Afterall, it is not our truck, it is theirs. And what they like is not necessarily going to be what I/you/we like.
