Default Upgraded from 96 Geo Tracker

The thing just wouldn’t die. 2 door convertible 4x4. Just bought a leftover 18 xlt made in sept 18 fx4 with the 3.5, tow package, 302, nav, and lots of goodies. Msrp was $54,225 got it for $43,500. I plan to put a bed cover on it and can’t decide on a one piece or tri-fold. I’ve read all the threads on brands but haven’t seen any about the type.
Has anyone had both types and like one type better than the other?

Depends on how you are going to use your truck really. I had a roll up cover on my old truck, after years it quit rolling up like it should and the lock quit working. I replaced with a hard plastic one piece cover from under cover ( I think). That worked great and kept more of the weather out, but if you wanted to use the whole bed for like a couch - it needed to come off, and it was heavy. On my new 18, I went with a Bak Flip Tri fold cover and really like it so far. It keeps out most of the elements and is easy to open when I need the whole bed.

That's quite an upgrade! I used to have a Suzuki Sidekick. (Same truck, different badge.) Surprisingly capable off road, but couldn't get out if it's own way on pavement.
Don't be alarmed by that feeling of forward motion you get when you press the gas pedal. That's called "acceleration". Lol

Thanks for the welcoming. Yeah, the Tracker was slow but being so short and narrow it was great off-road. I’m hoping the new 4x4 with locking rear will climb good. The 3.5 flies.
The backflip looks great, thanks for the information.
