Trucks in the Back Yard
HI There ! Looking for inspiration, direction and motivation. My '86 XL 351 HO long bed is just sitting behind the garage where it has been for years. Thought about yanking the motor and junking the rest of it and my '99 XLT is under the car port. Both untagged now due to my states outrageous registration fees from what they used to be. The '99 has the 5.4 Triton with the dreaded timing chain noise that I occasionally start up and move out to wash. I really like that truck and kept it even when I bought my '19 RAM 4WD Quad cab. The back seat setup is fantastic the way it folds down. Wish my RAM was like that. The back seat area is practically worthless in the new truck. I keep telling myself that one day I'll replace the timing chain and tensioners but just haven't done it yet.
