You will (re-)love the stout little motor that the 2.7EB is. The 3.5 2GR is a relatively innovative motor but it's no match for the 2.7EB that can regularly average 21mpg! I'm excited to see what you do with the truck; what mods do you have in mind?

Their is actually a slight bit more room in the F150 Super Cab rear seat vs the Tacoma Double Cab rear seat. And my son did have room back there if I put the front seat all the way forward, but then it was useless. If ya get a Tacoma, check out Headstrong.com for mods. And there's a great site similar to this called tacomaworld.com that will help ya spend money on mods, lol...

As far as mods for this truck. I ordered a 2" leveling kit and a bed mat from Rough Country yesterday when I got home with the truck. Ordered a bug deflector today from amazon. Looking to go up a size or 2 in tires...probably go with Falken AT3Ws. That will be it for a while.

By the way, on the Tacoma forum site they have a thread for each specific color such as Super White, Magnetic, Silver Sky, Barcelona Red, etc... It was really cool to see what your truck in the same exact color would look like with certain mods. Is there a similar area on this site? Just wondering...

Before I pulled the trigger on my 2018 2.7, I was determined to get a Tacoma just for the 6-speed....

Can't say I have 1 single regret going with the Ford!
