Theft Deterrent kill switch
Hello, new to a Ford forum. I have purchased a pretty nice 1999 F150 flair-side 5.4L 4X4 gas not diesel and live in a "high theft rate" city with no garage. I have always been a fan of the kill switch but have heard or read about which method is better for the truck. Battery cut offs are great but hard on the computer and the user of the radio having to relearn settings and such. Then there is the fuel, will starving the injectors be hard on the fuel system if I forget to flip the switch? Is there anyone out there know of the easiest way to rig the fuel system with a kill switch to the fuel relay? Looking for a low buck method to deter thief's. Thanks!
