Just got me an STX in Lightning Blue with the 2.7 EB. Also have a Transit with the 3.5 EB.

I will be in the community learning about this thing, as well as trying to the defeat the stall at every stop to save gas feature.

Beautiful truck. I have the 2.7 as well. After the first few months I just started turning the auto start/stop feature off. I don't find myself sitting long enough for it to matter. I do however find myself using the sport mode more than i should (based on the speed limit signs posted in my area).

In a rural area stop-start is a waste, I do not need my truck to stop and start over a stop sign. I turn it off stop-start as well, and I found the jumper mod. It would be a great feature if you were in traffic jambs and don't mind replacing, batteries, starters, and alternators, not to mention having your engine accelerating several times a day with questionable lubrication on acceleration. If that was such a great fuel saving idea it would have been implemented in the 70s.

I was driving my Transit today and was a little anxious every time I stopped, even though it does not have that feature.

I find I like Sport mode best too.
