I'm a previous owner of 7.3L diesel powerstrokes, and now back in the market for a more practical [for daily use] vehicle capable of towing a smaller horse trailer or a 23' or so Airstream [She Who Must Be Obeyed's latest interest]. I'm looking at 12th Gen V-8s [5.4 or 5.0] or possibly a 13th Gen 3.5 ecoboost. What I'm finding is that HDPP Extended Cabs are rarer than hens' teeth - my preferred ride, but more capacity than absolutely necessary. Lots of good info on the forum, and I look forward to hearing more from Smokey Wren, the Towing Sage of Midland, who I remember well from a powerstroke site. I also look forward to contributing when I can. Thanks for having me!

Welcome to the forum, good luck on your search. I completely understand "She Who Must Be Obeyed" phrase from "Rumpole of the Bailey" a great British series from the 70's.
