RCSB New F150 owner - Waiting on build
I factory ordered a F150 last week.
2018
Race Red
Reg Cab
Short box (6.5 feet)
5.0L
3.55 gears with e-diff
2wd
Nothing else
I am pretty excited to get it, considering I never drove comparable truck for a test drive (nothing in canada for me to try out), its going to be a long wait. I was told 8 weeks build time.
I was hoping to use the cotus website to track it, but it wont work for me. Any idea how long it takes for a VIN to be developed?

I oredered a race red XLT 13 days ago. Got a VIN about a week later.
Then plugged the VIN into the Ford build status page and found out Ford had the wrong wheels on the order.
Hopefully the dealer will straighten it out.
