Default Ram to ford

Hello all
Newbie Ford guy here.
Just traded in my 2015 Ram 1500 sport 5.7 for a 2018 F150 Lariat sport 5.0L fully loaded, minus the sunroof, so I guess not FULLY loaded .. LOL
I'm not going to lie, I’m going to miss that Ram 1500. It was a great truck.
The dealer gave me an offer I couldn’t refuse. So anyways , after owning 3 rams, 2 HD's and a 1/2 ton, I’m am now officially a ford guy.
Cheers

First impressions:
The Ram's engine felt more responsive, but I am thinking I noticed it more because I had a Magnaflow exhaust on the ram and the sound aided with this...Looks like I found my first MOD. LOL
The ram also feels more solid and planted to the road compared to the F150 which is lighter.
I do like the Rams navigation better than fords. Rams is Garmin based and I just like the way it interacts.
I might be the only person on the planet, but I loved the rotary dial shifter on the ram and the push button 2X4, 4X4 Auto, 4X4 High and 4X4 low.

The fords interior is WAY quieter and much more refined, with the model I purchased (Larait sport 502a package).
The options that came with my Lariat are awesome like: All the features offered with the electronics (Nav, radio, and all the other settings).
Heated seats are a lot warmer than the Ram, A LOT.
iPhone remote starter with "Fordpass" app is perfect. I can remote start, lock/unlock, send destinations to the nav from my phone, find my truck on a map regardless where its at, check how much gas I have left, etc..
The key fob has remote start also that works better than the remote start offerd by Ram, longer distance. But it is kind of big.
The ford crew cab inside is HUGE compared to the ram. With my driver's seat set for me (I'm 5'10") I still have way more room in the back compared to Rams crew cab.
Back up camera is better and it has zoom.
The V8 5.0 is very nice and the 10-speed transmission seems like a little overkill, but I cant really comment with less than 20 kms on the truck...LOL
Dollar for dollar, I think what you get on the F150 is a better deal for the same/similar price you pay for the Ram.

Can't comment on mileage or anything because I just picked it up yesterday and drove home in a huge snow storm.

I'm not a hater of any of the big truck manufactures, I think they all bring something great to the table for customers and depending on how much money you spend, you can end up comparing apples to oranges based on the mighty $$$.
I loved my Ram, I hate the 2015 F150 XLT 3.5 eco boost I drive at work daily but I am already in love with this Lariat.

Can't wait to see how my opinion changes after getting some mileage behind the wheel.

Thanks

Thank you for the quick initial thoughts, you said a lot of what I assumed you would.

How did you feel about the MDS in the Ram? I had a Z71 back in the day for a few months with it, and the firs thing I did was turn it off permanently. The weather mode in the f150 may be helpful in those storms. In TX, all i need is sport mode.

Please post back once you have more time behind the wheel.
