Default Question:

Hello: New to the site and have a question:

I just purchased a 1982 F-150, 302 cubic inch motor, automatic trans. I spent several hours today following vacuum hoses and ran across a vacuum hose off the top of the transfer case and the hose was broken and i couldn't find the other connection. Does any one know where the vacuum hose off the top of the transfer case hook up to?.

It was laying on top of the transmission and was broken or at some point pinched or what ever, any waybi can't find out where it hooks up to.

Thanks for any help. I have owned many fords but not quite so old.

Thank you: That answers a lot of questions being a vent. That was the last what i thought was a vacuum hose. It's almost road worthy.Luv working on the older models so easy compaired to.
