Purple Pick-up here
Back in November I was looking for a used truck. I had a budget and I knew I was looking for a Ford. I had looked at several rangers and a couple of F-150s (2000 and up) but nothing that just spoke to me. Then one day as I was passing a new car lot so small that it only had 10 cars on it I saw the one. A Purple and silver 1995 extended cab short bed F-150. I went in and asked if I could take it for a spin, it was a bit sluggish at first but when I really open her up I could feel the power just waiting to be unleashed. It had a 5.0 V8 and and almost everything worked (cruise control still doesn't work but that's not important). It needed some TLC and I needed a truck, a match made in Texas. Since then I have worked it to death and have replaced the radiator, the alternator and the air intake. So far it has all been worth it, my only regret is that it's an automatic, but no one is perfect.
