I am sorry if I am breaking any forum rules but I need answers quick ! I am purchasing a 2013 F150 Lariat 3.5 V6 ECOBOOST come monday morning and I haven't had the time to do my normal vehicle buying research. I am curious to know if theres any issues/warranty/recalls I should be aware of with the year/model. I am buying the truck mainly to tow a boat(7,490 lbs. without trailer) down at my FL house and I just want to make sure it will be able to get the job done without any issues and make sure the 3.5 v6 eco is powerful enough. Once again I thank you and apologize for my rushed post , my days have been extremely hectic lately !

To require an emergency "answer quick" when one is about to drop 30-50 thousand leaves me thinking that you have more than enough $$$ to correct any mistake that you may make.

Thus completely voiding any input you may receive from anyone.

7,500 lbs boat + trailer tells me you need at minimum the Max Tow / HD (?) package, if not a F250...

Turns out the truck has 3.73 Electronic Locking Rear Axle package with a 11,000 tow capacity. I appreciate your help !

I know that (I have an EB w/ 3.73, Max Tow)
but if the boat is 7,500 + trailer + gear (beer cooler, fishing / play stuff,...) + people in the truck, you'll be close to the 11,000 lbs. and while i'm not a specialist on towing capacities, many find that you're limited by payload before you hit the max towing capacity.

11,000 capacity is with a weight distributing hitch.

All you need is an fx4, airbags, and the 6.2L and you'd be fine
