Hey all, I was on this forum for a few years back when I had my F-150 and then decided to get a GMC 2500 Denali diesel which was fine...until I set it on fire July 4th and I decided to go back to the fold and replaced it with an F-150 Platinum, so it's good to be back!

I don't think they'd mind that I came back to the forum...
In all seriousness, the fire was a complete accident. I had some spent fireworks that had cooled for about an hour and then I picked them up and put them in the truck bed to drive them up to the house to be disposed of. I went inside for about 10-15 min before leaving and came out to an inferno. I quickly put it out, but the smoke damage was just too much to repair.
It was a really nice truck and I was pretty upset about it, but USAA was excellent (of course, I've been with them for 20 years so that probably helped) and gave me just over trade-in value for it.

I've already leveled it and replaced the tires with BFG KO2s and I'll be adding a Bakflip and Ranch Hand grille guard and probably stop there for now!
