Hey lil4x4.

I can track your order for you! Shoot me a PM with your order number and dealer code from your paperwork and I'll keep you updated.

Default Welcome

Welcome Ashely and Crystal.I have seen what you do on the Dieselstop, glad to see you here too. Has your sofware not picked up the some of the biggest threads concerning steering knock in EPAS trucks as well as the loss of power and shudder?

If not, jump in, they are stickies at the top of the thread.

I have both the knock in the steering wheel as well as the loss of power. Please read the threads and see if you can help.

Thanks

Default You have your hands full with my lemon!

Here's a little background -- We are Ford Service, so we look to help with service-related questions and concerns. My name is Ashley and I’m the representative assigned to this forum and looking forward to assisting with newer-model concerns, product questions, and tracking vehicle orders. I’m in the office M - F 11 a.m. - 8 p.m. ET. Crystal is my backup and her hours are M - F 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. ET.

It’s preferred to keep all conversations public in case others have similar questions/concerns. The only time you'll be asked to PM information will be when it's considered private (VINs, contact info, etc.). Some things we won't be able to add value to are concerns with older/high-mileage vehicles, future-product questions (unless we've already released info publicly), modifications, and other non-service issues. We'll do our best to track down answers from our engineers and brand managers whenever possible, but these may take some time, so please be patient. Private messages are typically replied to within two business days and we will post when our offices are closed or we’re out for vacation.

We plan to add an agent who specializes in SYNC, MyFord Touch, navigation, and SiriusXM in the future, so please continue to contact us through other channels for those topics in the meantime.

Our social media search portal finds relevant posts where we can add value. There's nothing you'll need to do differently; we'll find your posts and jump in where we can help.

We're happy to finally be here!

Ashley

so heres a update friends, dealer called me and told me engineers from ford installed a $5,000 special computer in my truck that will detect exactly what is drawing battery dead. They said to take it home and drive it until it acts up again, then doNOT jump start it! wait for a tow truck.(also told me, that there is only 1 of these super computers in the world) honestly folks I couldn't make this crap up!
ok I am so done!
problems I see with this:
1) ford is handing me back a truck they know will break down again
2) not safe for me and family to use
3) ford has just opened themselves up to a huge liability!!! with knowledge of a issue, telling customer to drive until it breaks down again!
hypothetically... what if I was in a bad area of town when this happens and I am mugged while waiting for a tow?? not likely, but what if?
4) Ford is doing there R&D on my time and dime! bad business
5) I have now used a accumulated 8 hours of pto time at work because of this truck, that equals 1 full day I will not have to spend on vacation with family! does not count the 20 some hours on phone and being at dealer when not during work day!

so heres a update on the "super computer", the only one in the world...... yea, you can buy it on the internet with next day delivery!! wow!
look it up guys, heres the name and model of what was installed under the hood of my truck, strapped to battery! :inGEN diagnostic data recorder IDR-10
for sale at MIDTRONICS.COM
basically it records amperage draw on the battery and records it onto a SD card, problem is , it does NOT isolate what is drawing the amperage.
just a giant hamster wheel they are running around in!!
so disgusted, ford's CSM called today and basically said sorry, nothing we can do until part fails, just call roadside assistance and have them tow it. Never have I been jerked around like this in my life!
