Well guys it has been great reading and posting here on the F150 Forums with my two Ecoboosts but I just had to give them up. I have returned to being an F250 diesel owner. After 3 F150's, the 2010 having the 5.4 and was the best of the three. The Ecoboost was great when first new before the CAC filled up with the gunk and caused problems and then the dealer reflash takes half the power. No more for me until I can be guaranteed by Ford that the problem has been solved.
I am now the proud owner of a brand new 2014 F250 Lariat 6.7 diesel with the Lariat ultimate pkg, chrome pkg, FX-4 pkg, w/3.31 e-locker. This thing just driving it home from the dealer @ 65 mph averaged 19.4 over 125 mile trip home. My Ecoboost best ever at that speed was only 17. We are talking a one ton heavier truck and longer too! Dealer gave me a fantastic deal. I traded up to 62345 dollar vehicle from 53900 dollar 2013 Platinum F150 and had a trade difference of only 14700 with the F150 having 19+++ miles on it.
