Default Newbie with a question

Heh guys,

I am new here. I got my F150 fx2 ecoboost screw on Saturday. Love the truck so far! One thing I am having issues with is parking in my garage. I bought the fx2 with the power fold mirrors knowing I would need to fold my mirrors to get into the garage. Right now I have not attempted to park in the garage. This is my first truck so I am still trying to get used to it.

Anyone have advice? My garage is 93 inches so with mirrors folded that should give me roughly 4.5 inches on both sides. I know many of you are probably laughing thinking this is plenty room but I have zero confidence right now in trying. Would backing up using the camera be a good option?

You can use the camera, but make sure youre still checking your mirrors much like you would they weren't folded in so you dont hit the mirrors on the wall or what not.

Welcome from SoCal. 4.5 inches isn't much but pulling in will be easier than backing out especially w/o mirrors. I would tape some bright orange craft paper on each door edge at the height of the mirror, so you can really see them. If you smack a mirror it will be $400 plus to replace one. Maybe you can have someone help guide you until your comfortable. Good luck.
