Newbie and looking for some help
Hello!
My 2016 Lariat is my first truck, purchased used in 2020. Virtually no issues until recently.
A couple of weeks ago, the settings started randomly changing. For instance, I never listen to AM/FM but the radio would default to AM, sometimes FM, when I started the truck. Additionally, I now have to manually select the digital speedometer.
Fast forward to today, I went to start my truck, the brake pedal seized and the dashboard went crazy giving me all sorts of messages, the last of which was “hill start assist not available.”
I wasn’t parked on an incline. The truck just would not start.
Left it to sit all day, about 10 hours, and then it started. Still have to manually select SIRRIUS/XM and the digital speedometer.
An clue what’s going on? Thankfully all this happened at my house so I wasn’t stranded but I might not be so lucky next time.
