I just wanted to say hello, and extend my thanks and appreciation for being accepted as a member of this forum. This is my first pickup, my first Ford as well - it's a 2001 Ford F-150 XLT 4.6L V8. She has 292,000 on the odometer, yet she still runs very strong. AC and heat blow as they should, no leaks, and she pulls when I mash on it. Power door locks and side view mirrors don't work, the rear doors don't open, but that's okay - at least the bones are good, and I don't have a car note. It is my pickup. I am glad to be here.

Welcome! The good thing about a truck from that vintage is the pick-and-pull type lots are filled with parts, so you can always find what you need!
