Default New from S.C.

New member from S.C. I've been a diehard Toyota truck and SUV driver for over 20y that is just now considering the F-150. Ford seems like a better bang/buck, is getting good reliability scores, and has more economic engine power options, and the ability to buy with just the options that I need.
I'm here trying to get up to speed on trim levels, packages, and best used year models to look at for my next truck. I
'm not an off-roader, but do enjoy a lot of outdoor activities, need to tow a 4500lb boat/trailer, and be able to haul my kids and their friends around town in comfort.
I'm also a high mileage driver (25K per year) and tend to keep my trucks for 8-10 years.
Trying to stay in a mid-$40s budget some open to suggestions.
