Default New project coming

Finished school and got the job. Now I'll have time to restore my late grandfather's 1989 Ford F-150 the proper way. Completely bone stock, all original. Manual straight Six. It has been sitting for nearly 15 years and surprisingly turns over and runs down the block. I have an interest into generating more power without losing so much reliability, so engine swapping is where I'm looking towards. Any idea on what options I have other than a 351 and a 460?

Welcome to the forum. I would go with a 351.

Welcome. I would rebuild the straight six. That’s a bulletproof powertrain you have there and there’s a cool factor the inline 6 has. You just don’t see them quite as much
