still driving my 02 F150 with the 4.6 but, after it blew the #7 spark plug, I don’t trust it even around town. Debated replacing the heads or the engine, either way probably $3000 into a beat (thanks son!) 17y/o truck.

I guess the wife got tired of me using my truck as an excuse not to run to Walmart at midnight and she started searching for a truck for me.

she lined me up on a 2015 XLT Screw Texas Edition with 26k miles for $25k...

it it has the 3.5 eco boost and I was completely floored by it’s power and especially it's response. My 02 is a lump compared to this new engine!

already dropped weathertec mats in it. Looking at 18” rims and a stereo upgrade next. I have been browsing some stereo upgrade forums here and I am surprised at how involved these trucks have become electronically in just a few short years.

anyway, excited about my return here and looking forward to learning/re-learning stuff from other members.
