I am new member here at f150forum.com. I Currently own a 2014 supercab ecoboost w/ the 6.5 bed. However, the real reason I joined here was for some purchasing advice. :thumbup:

I came across a used 2013 5.0 FX4 supercrew with the 6.5 bed. Dealer had it priced at 36,600. I worked them down to 35800. The truck only has 31k miles on it. The primary reason for doing this trade is to refinance and knock my payments down.

My hesitation;

1. Ecoboost 3.31 non-lsd vs the 5.0 w/ 3.73 locking rear end. I spend a good amount of time ''off-road'' and towing/launching a bass boat.

2. I know more about the ecoboost because i have one. looking for some pros and cons to the V8. Also is there any known problem with the 5.0 I need to look for if i go forward this deal???
