Default New Member, New 2007 XLT Owner w/Questions

Hello,
I'm a new member and I've just bought a '07 F-150 XLT Supercab 4WD with about 65,000 miles on it. It's a single owner and he appears to have babied it.
I felt REALLY great about having bought it (it test drove pretty much flawlessly, at least as far as I could tell) until I started reading all this snark about the 5.4L Flex-Fuel Triton.

Any words of caution for caring for it? I've downloaded an OM (I haven't taken delivery of it yet, it might well have a printed manual) but I'm still looking for a Service Manual.

The Dealership said they've been through it and give it an A+, but that's pretty generic.

Thanks in advance and thanks for extending the membership. Best to everyone...

I will as soon as I take delivery. They're detailing it and I called about these 5.4 Triton issues. I asked them if it had been through their shop and they said yes, and then I sort of forced them to admit that all that meant was they hooked it up to a machine.
I asked them to physically inspect it, without pushing the issue of whether I'd accept delivery. We'll see how that goes. I know it's out of warranty, but I've purchased one through them. I'll wait to hear back. Thanks for the welcome!

Default Here she is...

65K Miles. It was REALLY clean, plus the dealership did a pretty good job of detailing it.

She's got new shoes, which was nice. I had to go back because the battery had a fractured post (it went dead overnight a couple of times) and they replaced it with a new 36 month Motorcraft. So my experience was pretty unusual and positive.

Booty shot, er, I mean "Beauty Shot"...

The Tonneau Cover lock had been broken into at some point. I'll have to replace it with a generic "black one". Any recommendations?

Should I keep it clean and classic or light it up in Neon? : - )
