Default Nate from Tennessee

Hey everyone,

Picked up a 2002 Screw Lariat FX4 2 weeks ago and started on my hunt for knowledge of my new diamond in the rough. She does come with a few small issues due to time and being used but also comes with some scheduled maintenance by the previous owner.

The issues:Water dripping from Driver grab handle.Solution: Inspecting the sunroof drains, door seals and sealing of the windshield if needed.
2)Torsion keys cranked,a little bouncy but handles like sports car so keys are what I am thinking.Solution: Just purchased Truxxx 2-3 inch keys hoping to correct the issue.
3)Shocks are shot with 170k on them.Solution: Bilstein HDs arrived today.
4) New Moog Pitman arm arrived today also as she has about .5 inch play in the wheel from center to left and right.

What the previous owner did 4k miles before I purchased it:
1) Brand New NItto Terra Grappler, down side to tires is they are 305 and I think they are to big.New alignment.
2) Had ford dealer change the plugs,3 coil packs, rad hoses and serp belt.
3) New moog upper control arms.

Here she is...

Thanks Marc,

I appreciate the kind words. She is getting additional attention each week and soon to be HID projector swap in,then HD trans build, then Audio.Measured the centerline of wheel to center radius of fender and its 23 3/4.Still debating once the truxxx keys are installed in place of the factories being cranked, dropping it to 23 1/4.I am not a fan of putting the axle shafts in a bind or the reduction in shock stroke with key leveling,so lots to think about still.

Thanks there F.M.

I will be getting in touch with you soon about tuning options.P.M. what you feel would be best with an exhaust from the manifolds back,no cats required in my area so the restriction is coming off.Hypertech is near me and I can source a proto type very old ford set up from an employee, that was used by them back in the late 90`s.Places a snorkle 6 inches wide and 1 inch thick under the front valance and pipes up to the Filter.

If I dont hear from you I will just holler at you in a week or so about it all.
