Talking New Member!

Just joined today, although I have had my truck since May of 2008. My truck is a 2008 F-150 Texas Edition. The Texas edition is just a supercab 4.6L V8 with a chrome package (which I am not all that fond of) and a Texas Edition Emblem on the back .

So far I am pretty happy with this truck. I have had transmission issues already which is quite ridiculous for a truck under 20k miles, especially a Ford, but the factory warranty took care of that. I also wish I would have gotten a 5.4L truck but since I am only towing a boat one season out of the year its no biggy. All in all I am very pleased with my truck, still want to do a few things with it though.

Mods:
F+R 3" leveling kit
Tires: 35" Procomp Extreme All-Terrains
Wheels: 17" Black Addicts
Pioneer Premier replacement Head Unit
Carr Steps

Only have one pic for now, I'll throw some more up later.

Also I know this isn't the place for ?'s but if you'd like to answer Id greatly appreciate it.

I'm considering a edge programmer mainly for gas mileage and performance gains. Is it worth the $$$? also does it void my factory warranty?

Considering getting the Ford extended warranty, especially since I have already had transmission issues. Your thoughts?

Welcome. Your truck looks great !
From what I hear the Edge is well worth the money but if you are planning bigger mods Griffin is the way to go.
Do a search and you should find plenty info.

When you say F+R, is that supposed to mean front and rear?
