I ordered an F150 Lariat with an 8ft bed and max trailer tow. It was was ordered on 6/25 and I was told it would be two to three months. The cotus site shows a VIN and a status of "order processing". I'll probably be a total nutjob by mid August waiting. I'm a life long computer nerd getting closer to retirement and have an FCC general license. I will put an HF radio in the truck.
The only accessory that I'm interested in for now is a locking bed cover of some sort that doesn't block the rail covers. Recommendations?
My order was moved from "Order Processing" to "In Production" today. I was also able to view and print the window sticker..... Still shows 31 days to delivery. I guess it's assembled in the Kansas City plant. Looks like I'll have to wait until after Labor Day.
Truck was moved from "In Production" status to "Awaiting Shipment" status on Tuesday. I ordered a Bakflip mx4 cover for the back. It already seems like I've waited three months......
Picked up on Friday, so far so good, I haven't found anything I don't like yet. I have a ton to learn about this vehicle.....
I have the factory drop-in bed liner, I've already been told they are not a good idea long term. My first question is how do I find the the covers for the tonneau drains up in the front? I assume they are covered by the bed liner but the BakFlip install doesn't say anything about this that I've found.
