Hello. I am a long time Ford guy but have only owned one truck and it was a Ranger. I need a truck and am looking at F150's this time.
My budget is not very big and I know that whatever I get will be high mileage. I am ok with that and I am trying to keep it around 100K. I see a lot of trucks with very high miles which is a good sign.
Which would be the better choice for a truck that will be used lightly? 4.6 or 5.4? I am a mustang guy so I am familar with that version of the 4.6. Instinct tells me to go with the 5.4.
My budget looks like it will get me into a 04 as the newest. I've found a few. Any thoughts on years? I am not opposed to models older. Thanks!
