Default New guy from SoCal

Hey Guys,

Figured i'd join the forum, I end up browsing it enough for various things anyways. I've got a 1995 F-150 with the 5.0 I've been building into a prerunner the last couple months, so if any of you guys are into go-fast desert stuff or are interested in learning, come on over and look at my build thread when I get it up going.

I was a diesel/heavy line mechanic for Ford before I got into the machine tool industry, so if you guys have any questions on topics you dont know, feel free to reach out, if I dont know it, i still have a decent amount of contacts at Ford.

Look forward to being a member and getting to know some of you guys.cheers!

Here's the progression of the truck the last couple months, gonna transfer my build thread over.

The day I brought her home

The night me and some buddies thrashed on it for 11 hours and built the entire truck before leaving for mexico for the baja 1000 the next day

Had a 95 F150 supercab a few trucks ago. Always liked the size and comfort. Eventually moved my way up to current rig but that was a great truck too.

I like what you're doing with this truck (and I like that truck, stock, too). I'm a little farther along in years than you might be and wish to be a little more kind to my daily-driven equipment... I still hit the dirt, but at an easy crawl over the desert to go target sho0tin'.

I'm out near LAX. Where in southern Cal are you? generally speaking...
