New guy from Scotland!
Hello there! 
Just joined - bought a 2003 F150 Harley to replace my C4 Corvette back in May. Thought it was probably about time to join a forum or two. Am over in Scotland so parts can be hard to come by and petrol (gas!) is nearly $10 a gallon so the Harley probably wasnt a sensible choice!

Welcome to the forum Jas. That truck sounds really nice even though it uses a lot of gasoline. I used to feel the same way about my 1998 F150 but the longer I have it the more I like it. I work construction so I use it a lot for hauling materials and tools. by the by; you can get about any part you need on ebay.com at a very good price As long as you can get the occasional parts you need the Ford F150 runs and runs. I still enjoy driving it every time I get behind the wheel.

To answer phoneguy - theres 3 in my town of about 7,000 folk (1 of which is mine) and they are the only 3 F150s I've ever seen in Scotland, although I'm sure there are more! A little bit more popular in South of England. I've had 4 American vehicles now (1976 Dodge W200, 83 Olds 98, 93 Corvette C4 and the F150) and they always attract looks/an audience! First questions are usually what size engine/ how thirsty is that!
I'm afraid American market cars just dont make any sense over here - much as I like them! Small Euro diesels are rife!

At $10 a gallon I would probably opt for the euro diesel too. You probably turn some heads in the new wheels. You can't drive 2 blocks without seeing one here.
