New guy old problems
Hey guys and gals, my name is matt and i have one of the rare mutt trucks also known as the light duty f250. i got on here for some info. After the truck gets put into park it acts like it doesnt go in all the way and will roll then catch then roll again and so on. any idea whats goin on. all the other gears are working fine for 200,000 miles on a stock drivetrain. thanks in advance.

Might be your shift linkage out of adjustment.
But I would say the notched piece (I don't know what it is called ) gear selector
Inside of the transmission has the park tooth wore out.
I'm just guessing. Not a real mechanic. Lol!
Hopefully someone with some real knowledge will chime in.
