New guy here, with a few pics of my new to me truck
I recently bought a 2006 F150 Supercrew. It has the 5.4L in it, XLT with power heater mirrors, back up sensor, power seat, pretty much loaded except no leather.
Anyways it's a high mileage truck, she has 95K on her. But it was all highway miles. I talked to the saleman that owned it before me. It was very well taken care of. So I wasn't too concerned about he mileage on it.
I bought this truck to repace my 01 Dodge Ram that started on fire. Total loss on the truck. That will be the first and last Dodge truck I will ever own. That thing was a money pit from day 1. Transmission, read differential, engine work, front end work, fuel pump. That truck was a nightmare!!! I had a 94 Ford prior to that. That truck was a great truck!!! Had almost 300K on it before I retired it.
I just replaced the plugs on Sunday. What a nightmare!! I broke off 4 of them. I bought the tool to remove the broken plugs, once I learned how to use the tool they came out pretty easy.
Here are a few pics of the truck before i bought it and one of it after, I added the pinstripe, the new tires, and the chrome step tubes I took the running boards off.
And the after pic.

If you dont wanna deal with them i'll take em lol

I have an 02 dodge (money pit is right, just dropped new engine in it after many other repairs) and 2 fords an 01 sporttrac (only ever replace front hubs) and an 07 F150 (Never broke - knock on wood) Stick with ford. has served me right. Just don't tell my wife, she has said ford is the best since the day we met. Pride won't let me agree with her (atleast out loud) GOOD LUCK with your truck, she's a beauty!!!

I put them into my storage garage. I am holding on to them in case I want to put them back on at some point
