Ford F150 Forum - Community of Ford Truck Fans

My name is Jason, I am from the south side of Indianapolis and I purchased my 05' FX4 back in February after I wrecked my other winter car. I purchased it from a local dealer; it was owned by an older gentleman who had traded it in on a 2011 version of the exact same truck. When I got it there wasn't even a scratch in the bed, it had new brakes and tires.

So far I have loved the truck and wish I would have bought one years ago. The cars that I owned prior where: 2000 Ford Explorer 5.0, 2006 Mazdaspeed 6, 2008 Mitsubishi Evolution MR and a 2009 Mazda RX-8 (just sold it today).

I would like to add a few things to fix the truck up a little, but not too much. I am very fortunate to have a father who is a life long mechanic and Ford guy who knows so much about everything mechanical. After I got out of the Navy I helped him build a four car garage down at their house; then bought him a lift as a thank you gift for letting me stay there while I figured out what I wanted to do in life.

So that's my story and I hope to drive this truck until the wheels fall off.
