Welcome to the site!

Wxmcpo lives out there and he has 6"s of lift and is fine, I wonder why yours would be different?

So that must mean you have a body lift on it then, can't be more than 3" of lift between frame and body, which really sucks. I'd like to go higher on my truck, but really can't because of the all the laws regarding truck height. I see several trucks running around here though that have way more than a 3" body lift and definitely exheed the bumper heights laws. Not sure how they get away with it, but if you drive down to Maui offroad there are some nice looking trucks down there that shouldn't be street legal.

I have driven down by maui offroad... them be some nice looking trucks... I have a 3" body lift on now, but like wxmcpo said. Cant be more than 3" from frame to body :'( The bed is fine. I just have them inch spacers for the cab which makes the cab 4". Alot of hassle to change a truck that runs great.

Welcome...

How do they ding you on the height, do you have annual inspections?

Enjoy the weather!

You not only have to get a safety inspection out here, but if your truck is modified in any way you have to go through a recon inspection. They measure the height of the bumper from the bottom of the bumper to the ground. They also measure any distance between your frame and body, that's where they got Hobbes.

wxmcpo is right, sadly. But I am not sure if I need to have an inspection every year or not. Do you know about that wxmcpo?
