I found this forum while searching for information about the water leak problem I have with my new F150. The Ford dealer had no information about water leak problems when I asked them about wet driverside carpet I had been trying to dry out since Feb. After searching the web I came upon this forum. My 2nd call to the dealer resulted in my refering them to this forum. The truck was taken in last Wed. (04/05) for an early oil change and for them to look for the source of wet carpet. Their outside glass guy was not available until 04/12 so I was given a loaner. They said they found a Ford tech report that stated 20 some trucks were involved with 7" area of the windshield that was not sealed properly. Thanks to this forum, this factory defect is being addressed.

The truck left the Kansas City plant last Sept. and shipped to London, Ky where my dealer found it. They put about 400 mi. on it getting it to Auburn, IN where we picked it up in late Dec. It had less than 3,000 mi. when I left for service and the water leak. If it has been leaking since Sept., I'm I looking at more problems in the future with electrical, rust, & mold issues?
