Smile New to Ford p/u

I drove a 1998 Chev. Silverado for 14 years and even with extensive mods it wasn't cutting it any longer for towing my travel trailer. So my Wife works at a Ford dealer so obviously there is the deal. They checked everywhere for a truck with the equip. I wanted and couldn't find one anywhere. So I got a chance to do the "order a truck off the line just the way you want it" thing for the first time in my life. So I bought a 2014 XLT Supercab 4X4, with buckets and console in front. Even that was tough to find. 5.0 liter V8, And I got the off-road pkg., the towing pkg., 3.73 ELD, Bed rug, and SnugTop tonneau cover. I have not towed with it yet, but I am real happy with my first Ford P/U ever at 61 yrs. old.

So, welcome aboard. You will enjoy - I have for over 40 years. Have owned all domestic brands.
Ford has been my #1 choice so far!
H'mmmm - what was my first Ford?
A 1960 Falcon station wagon.
They got better from there.
