Hi guys -- new here from the Cincinnati area. Picked up a F150 to help pull our camper since my wife's 2023 Armada was maxed out (or slightly over) on payload / tongue weight.
Was shooting for 2,000+ lbs of payload, but found a low mileage (43k miles) 2017 F150 SCrew XTR 4x4 long bed with 5.0 V8, 3.73 gears with max tow. Seems like the XTR is just a chrome appearance package, but truck is basically an XLT. Nice to have 1833 pounds of payload (versus 1455 on the Armada) and a much longer wheelbase (157" versus 121" on the Armada) to pull our 28 rear bunkhouse travel trailer (33' total length).
Already ordered Clazzio seat covers and looking at Carplay options to replace the small 4.3 display -- also will likely add RAS. Thanks for welcoming me!
