New To The Blue Oval

New To The Blue Oval
Hello everyone,
I have been a Chevy fan for as long as I can remember. However, when it came time to purchase a new truck, I was amazed at the look and refinement of the F150. Comparing it to the any Silverado was just unfair for the Chevy. So, without hesitation, I purchased a 2012 FX2 5.0 SCREW and...I absolutely LOVE it. Completely stock, for now. HAHA. Looking forward to modding and most of all driving this new beast.

Thanks speeddemon86, only simple mods for now. Painting the tail light edges black, tint, Line-X, a slightly louder exhaust and HID retrofit when I can save the dough. Oh and have the tires flipped white letters in.

Thanks colt, the color really stands out in the sun. These F150's have the best interior and body style in my opinion of all the 1/2 tons out there right now. That and the 5.0 sounds freakin' sweet. Couldn't see myself paying for a Siverado that has gone virtually unchanged since '07. Have heard a lot of bad things about the 5.3 on the Chevys with the cylinder deactivation system.

Congrats on making the switch. Your truck looks great in that color too. I just got a (new to me) 2011 with the EcoBoost and love it to death. The new Chevys don't even compare to these trucks. Welcome to the site as well!
