My F-150 2018 5.0 noise in the engine.
 

Hi everyone, I'm new here.
I recently had my new 2018 f 150 engine 5.0 v8

I have a constant noise in the engine sounds like a hammer that is hitting a metal, the sound can be felt from inside the cabin when I am without movement, the sound is stronger on the passenger's side... that sound brings me like crazy!
according to the dealer, it says it's the new gas pump that is on top of the engine and this v8 5.0 engine has been redesigned and is made of aluminum. I did not agree with the answer and I went to a second opinion, the result was the same.
I have ford all my life and I can not understand how something so new with a price of 55k can sound so awful.
If someone can give me an idea at least I will be reassured, Thank you all!

I don't have a noise like that on mine. But I only have a few hundred miles on it thus far. The only "noise" I hear is that it sounds more like a diesel at times. I presume because of the direct injection. Hope they get it resolved for you.

Thanks for answering, I have only 1200 miles, this sound especially in the 5.0 and started ringing from its first 100 miles... some people have asked me if this is a diesel truck lol
