Default MODULES (with chips) & DELAYS IN SHIPPING

As I'm sure many of you already know, no one is going to be trying to install loose semi-conductor chips into our built trucks. Rather: premade modules with chips inside them. I'm sure there are wiring harnesses in our built F-150s, sitting there, outside the Dearborn or Kansas City factories, waiting on the MODULES. My truck was made a couple of weeks ago. I heard today that the missing modules should be there by 4/23/2022. This is the second time in 2 weeks that Ford's pleasant New Vehicle Support Team have told me the 4/23 date. That's only 17 days from now. Too long to hold my breath, but not too long in the grand scheme of things. I know some of you have been waiting longer. I hope that doesn't continue. And: no: I'm not mad at anyone. Don't think that would do any good anyway. Global issue. Just hope things start getting supplied faster soon. Hope all of you will be getting your trucks finished soon as well.

The global supply chain is a long one. Getting back to "normal" will be measured in years, not weeks or even months.
