Default Made the switch

Hello all, well I bought my first new Ford vehicle, a 2009 F150 XLT Super Crew. I've been a die hard Mopar driver for 33 years but with everything going on with them I really wasn't comfortable and have had more than my share of problems recently. I really admire Ford for holding their own in these economic times. So I'm loving my new truck so far, only put 30 miles on it on the ride home. Looking forward to learning a lot And contributing when I can. Cliff

Welcome to the forums. I think you will enjoy driving the new F150’s. They don’t have the horsepower of the Dodge Hemi, but they will hold their own when you need to pass someone on the highway. The towing, hauling and gas mileage is a nice improvement over the Dodge though.

Ford has always been a solid company. I glad they didn’t take any of the tax payers money to run their business. That goes to show they know what they are doing in good times and in bad. The other companies don’t seem to have a clue. If they were a normal business, they wouldn’t be around any longer.
