Looks like a good site
Thanks to the powers that be for hosting this site. I recently picked up an '87 F150 with a 5.0 and a 4 speed manual. It was a county work truck in it's former life and has seen better days but the body is in good shape and the motor is in decent shape. The first thing I changed was the stock tiny tires for some 33x12.50's. Now it needs a lift. Before that I've got all kinds of maintenance... Rotors, wheel bearings, ball joints, oil leaks/pump, vent selectors, dash lights, gauges... So yeah it's a 30 year old truck with 30 years worth of issues. What doesn't it have? A $500 a month payment and $200 a month in insurance. I can buy a lot of parts for that kind of money. And my truck won't look like every other truck on the road.
I'm looking forward to cruising the site for info and tips.
