Default Lariat Fan Checking In

Hi Gang,

I have been "lurking" for quite some time as I previously owned a 2011 F150 XTR Screw (EcoBoost).

I decided to trade in my 2011 and get into a brand new truck. I picked up a 2012 Tuxedo Black F150 Lariat (5.0L V8) for a sweet price last week.

Here she is (Back In Black).

This is a great forum and I'm glad to be here.

Nice truck! Why did you get rid of the EB and get the 5.0? Ever take your old truck to Banff? Always wanted to go there.

I had no real issues with the EcoBoost other than mileage. It was hardly better than my buddy's truck and he has the 5.0L V8. On the new deal, all the hype about Eco was not enough to offset the $$ saved by going with the V8.

Banff is beautiful. In fact my wife and I were married in Lake Louise which is very close to Banff. It is well worth the trip. The scenery is breath taking and the clean mountain air is amazing.
