Largest tire to fit stock?
I have an 04' FX4 that is in need of new tires.
What is the largest tire that will fit on stock rims with no leveling kit?
I have been considering:
285/65/18 BFG's
325/60/18 Nitto Terra Grapplers
33x12.5x18 Toyo Open Country M/T's
I would like to go with the 33 M/T's but I have no idea if they will fit being that they are 12.5" wide.
I would appreciate any advise on what would fit, look good and what maybe would not look good. Its just for looks, not much off-road other than hunting season.
Thanks

It will fit. I ran a 285/70 tire with no problems at stock height. If anything you will have to trim the lower valance SLIGHTY, its just plastic so its no big deal.

I wouldn't mind putting on a leveling kit, but I haul the 4wheeler a lot in the summer and fall. Wouldn't that make the front higher than the back when loaded? Also, how do you like the Daystar leveling kit? Whats it made of Aluminum or Poly?

In that case you could a an AAL to help compensate for the weight and try to keep the truck as level as possible. Also a 2" spacer would be your best bet becuase you will have a load a good bit.
I like it, no squeaks at all. It is poly.

The Toyo is a VERY good M/T and will obviously do better offroad than the Terra Grapplers. The Toyo's last a good long time for an MT and so do the Terra Grapplers as and AT. They basically are one of the best tires in there class so to say, AT or MT.

No Pain, No Pain!
I have the same situation, I want to raise the front, but I will also be using an add-a-leaf kit to the rear so the back doesn't drop when I load the ATV during deer season! I have everything I need, except the front leveling springs. Those will be coming soon.
